Hi, is anyone really selling Pekin Robins for $200 each in Bathurst area, check out this:

http://www.petshopbiz.com.au/Pekin-Robi ... 97-580.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I can't believe some people are so ignorant or think everyone else is stupid, although in Europe they sell for approximately $50 each.
A month or so back I had an offer someone was selling hand reared, very finger tame finch "it can talk too"! :nosey: :mrgreen:

Missed this at first reading . . but I wouldn't laugh at this too much

Many years ago, a friend's wife hand raised a Cutthroat. It was extremely finger tame, and when she spoke to it, would respond with very "un-cutthroatlike" sounds, which though not 'words', were I'm sure the finch's interpretation of human speech. The affection that this bird had for its "mother" had to be seen to be believed.

My little hand reared gouldian isn't happy unless he's sitting on your hand or shoulder!! He tells me off with that angry little gouldian growl, and "talks" back to you when you say hello with the little gouldian communication call, "peep peep" kinda thing. And now he's started to make a longer drawn out call which doesn't sound like a gouldian at all!! So as Arthur says, this part at least may be true. The pekin robins for $200 each though?? I hate scammers. :irked:
