Hi,
I'm not sure if anyone on here lives in south east qld but i live in a town called kilcoy about an hour north west of brisbane and have spent all afternoon chasing something to treat air sac mites with no luck
There is a bird vet in chermside which stocks it but just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere closer i could get it?
Just not sure how long postage takes to buy it online? or where to get it from- I read on here that auspigeonco is good but you need to be a member to purchase it online
any advice is greatly appreciated
Paige
Where can i buy moxidectin plus in south east qld?

If you feel like taking a long drive you can get it in toowoomba from the west toowoomba vet surgery, it the auspigeonco stuff. I'm not sure if its postable but can't hurt to ask if your interested, their number is 46362027, they have a website aswell from memory its something like http://www.westtoowoombavetsurgery.com.

It is sold by Australian Wildlife Supplies http://www.wildlifesupplies.com.au/. They are the official supplier of all finch stuff for the Queensland Finch Society. They print their catalogue with prices and discounted QFS Member prices each month in Finch News (QFS magazine).

I Think the one sold by Wildlife Supplies is just moxidectin, not moxidectin plus?
It makes no difference to airsac mite, but the "plus" product which you get from Australian Pigeon Company/Dr Colin Walker also treats tapeworm.

Get the "plus" from Auspigeonco and Baycox (100 ml) from Australian Wildlife supplies 5mls/ltr for the plus and 3 mls/ltr baycox at the same time. Repeat 10-14 days later. Works great. If you have problems with wet cages etc, baycox is good for cocci etc.
good luck
