fledgling pic - size compared to adults

Hi all,

Just had WR double bars fledge a couple of days ago, took this pic and thought it was a good study to show the size difference compared to the adults. Double bars are such petite birds to begin with, but in this pic you can really see how little the babies are - amazing that they are so quick to fly, perch, call and generally grow up.

They are such cute little birds. Am hoping for some more soon myself, as they are back in their favourite nest.

Thanks for the comments, folks.

Brooksy, It's definitely a cockbird, but the father has a white legring, so no. The pair are down on eggs again already - never had them set a second batch so quickly! He's tending to the babies and she's back in the nest.
