Yes it may be the same guy i had spoken to a couple of years back about them and he had mentioned them. I think they are stunny and would be worth the wait if they work and the numbers get going.

I had a couple years ago which were acquired pieds - moulted into birds which were completely normal in appearance for the first 8 to 10 months - the pied markings would change completely with each moult. Never did get them established & it was 20+ years ago.
