Hi,

I hope all of our members have been staying safe and healthy, and on some level are enjoying being able to spend extra time at home with their birds.

The Autumn breeding season is wrapping up, and in much of Australia the weather is getting colder and wetter. It's time to transition our aviaries out of "breeding mode" and start making preparations for winter.

Aussie Finch Forum has been chugging along nicely in the last month. April's big news was that we've launched a new Instagram page highlighting some of the great photos shared by our members. It's worth following if you're into all that social media stuff.

Popular forum topics in April

Are all kinds of termites okay to feed to finches?

What version of a star finch is this? (grizzle pied, apparently)

Seeking advice for a sick finch

Upcoming bird sales

I wonder when we'll need this section of the newsletter again...
