Hi,

Before we dive into this month's newsletter, I'd like to thank the Aussie Finch Forum community for the overwhelmingly positive response to the first newsletter. Please accept my sincerest apologies if you sent a response and didn't receive a reply—there were dozens of people who offered feedback or had questions about logging into the forum, and a few were inevitably missed.

So what's new in August? We added a new Live Chat page, which restores the 'shoutbox' feature that disappeared several years ago. An exciting feature about the live chat is that it can notify you of any new topic/reply posted to the forum while you're chatting, so you'll now be able to see everything that's happening on the forum in real-time.

We also have a brand new Facebook page. It's only just gone live, so there's not yet a lot of activity. If you're a Facebook user, we'd love it if you could throw us a Like. Visit Aussie Finch Forum on Facebook.
