the beak colour difference is also noticeable from your shots.
message to self....must look more closely at eye ring colour....

hannes, sounds like you may have a pair....from my experience spare cocks will build roosting nests but wont share them with other cocks.

Thanks for all the replies. The female spend a lot of the time in her nest lately so l hope she have started laying some eggs.
