hi all

well I used to be know as wildbill but since leaving the forum i have saw the light and mellowed. I have picked up a new avatar "$bill"l which I think has a much better ring to it  I am still playing with the gouldian finch and diamonds plus a few months back did a 6 week 11,000 klm road trip to the top end of Australia photographing finches and parrots around pine creek nt.

Good to see you back William . .

Your new 'nic' reminds me of a well-known parrot breeder for some reason

thanks all - glad to be back. as to the blue hen she was actually purchased off garyh with 3 other black headed blues about 3 years ago to cross with my lime strain. quite a few of those split greens are her grandkids...lol
the above photo was taken just 2 weeks ago so she is rearing to go and breed again. this year I am only working with the black headed gouldian. well I really have no choice -that's all they breed

thanks gomer - I hope to set up a good 30 pair of the split combos this year. I might see If I can round up the photos I shot at pine creek nt on the gouldians on the outskirts of the township in a near dry creek bed when they came in for a quick drink plus the masks/bloods/longtails and black rump double bars
