Not a good pic, I know. I purchased this cock 5 months ago and was told it was 12 months old. Head colour was very bright orange. Three weeks ago the bright orange turned to a dull & dirty looking orange. Does this mean it wasn't 12 months old when purchased? (It looked fully coloured at the time).
What will be the likely colour outcome?

Maybe this is a slightly better pic.
