If they all come out of your split to blues, you can sell possible split blues not split blues. As there is no way of knowing if the visual greens got 1 each blue and green genes or two green genes. Though odds are better than 50%. Irritating I know because I have 4 young here that may be split blue myself.

Yes only guarantee for split blue offspring is blue bird paired with a normal.

Have 3 blues out of the 2 clutches; 1 cock and 2 hens - so will be looking to swap a blue hen for 2 split to blues after moult.

Sadly lost the split blue father 3 weeks post fledge - so no more blues in the near future. Still was a lovely surprise, as had no idea the birds where even split to blue.

Will have to look at the colony at the end of the year to work out which birds to keep or move on. Can't wait to see them all after moult :D

I'd like to help out but for some reason I cannot see the file, it says I need permission.
EDIT: Ok finally saw the pics, I think it's going to have normal colours.
Have a nice day!
