"a few skins" held by a man called Macgillivray in the early 1900s who lived in Broken Hill according to both Matthews & Cayley, which were taken from the Jardine River area and were "synonymous with minor" according to the old literature. Matthews (a serial taxonomic divider) proposed it as a subspecies but it has never been broadly recognised as such.
