Gday folks,

I went to Sugar Loaf Reservoir Nth Est of Melbourne yesterday not far from my house, to take some photos and was very excited to come across a red browed finch!! The first wild finch i have seen I'm pretty sure so it was a good find. I had never seen one up there before so i was very excited especially because i want one for my mixed collection.

Here are some photos of it. I'm pretty sure it's a cock bird.

Surprisingly i could only see the one, i tried to follow it around to see if there were more but from what i could see just the one. I'm sure there would of been more some were there, just didn't see them. And I'm not familiar with the red browed call because i havn't heard it before so cant help you on the hearing part
