Well after a long while trying to get hold of some of these Zebras, they are an amazing looking Zebra Finch. Photos don't do any justice for them as with most birds.
So I have a Fawn George pair and thus far been difficult.
1st Clutch clear eggs.
2nd Clutch 2 hatchlings but did not feed.
3rd Clutch 4 hatchlings but did not feed.

So this time the eggs will be going under another pair of Zebras to see how it goes.
Breeding Show Zebra Finches, Blue Gouldians, Pied Orange Breast.

If that bird gets you excited I really feel for you.
It looks like a cull to me.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It is very unusual but not my cup of tea either, it seems to have body colours that are all over the place and even chest bars on the head and cheek patches where the chest bars should be. Craig

Finally have some George young happening. Ended up getting some Grey George last year from the Nationals. Have about 15 on the perch and most off them are starting to get there George markings now.
So it is true that they do take almost 12months to get there appearance. Other then that they looked like Normal Greys.
