I have a pair of each in a 6m x 4m aviary and the green Singer cock bird tends to chase the Cordon cock bird. I did loose the last Cordon cock bird but I put in down to old age. Since the new Cordon cock bird has been in the cage the Cordons have not bred even though sitting on a few nests. I also had it happen in another smaller cage where i eventually moved the Cordons out. Do Green Singers have a vicious streak towards Red Cheeked Cordons?

When singers are in breeding mode they will chase most birds not only cordons.

Yes singers do have a nasty side when breeding . They will have a go at anything .

Hi Tillio2 i have breed singers and cordons in a mixed flight but you still have to keep an eye on the cock singer if he,s chasing the cordons try removing the singers from flight for a couple of weeks then reintroduce them.If you do manage to breed singers put the young in a smallcage in side the flight a week after they fledge the cock bird will still feed them threw the bars but this stops im killing any young cock birds
hope this helps good luck bry
