Well ater 5 yrs of looking..finally found a male Java (absolutely no white feathers anywhere) pretty happy :lol: :thumbup:

no white feathers in wing or tail..and absolutely none under lower beak (chin) every Java I have seen has white feathers somewhere... making them pied...

If it took 5 years to find this gem then would it not be safe to assume that the odds of you finding another bird, let alone the opposite sex and within the breeding lifespan of this bird, are pretty slim?

And if that is a safe assumption, what's the plan? Not being knowledgable in mutation genetics can you cross this to a run of the mill minutely-pied bird and then cross it back with its own offspring?

If I dont find a partner in 12mths ..yes I will get a minutely pied one and then pick the best to go from there... :thumbup:
