MY thanks to the Forum member that selflessly allowed me to borrow a Rufous-back cock bird from him after the Gunnedah sale!! No head-lock was required!!!
Looking forward to returning the compliment in the near future.

Given I've been chasing them for years with limited success the gesture speaks loads for Forum Members and their desire to save any further erosion of our exotic finch species.

Look forward to working with you and your finch mates up there on this species - thanks mate!

Good luck with them. Definitely a species where some mutual co-operation is required to lift them.

To be honest I think we're gunna need all the luck that we can get given their "attitude" which doesn't really promise a silverbillesque scenario!!

Still, the more the merrier!!!

Unfortunately another species in desperate need of some serious help.
Anyone who is breeding to keep this species going should be commended for their efforts
It is so good to see such cooperation. WELL DONE
I am interested in purchasing any of the more unusual Lonchura species and/or their subspecies. Particularly the Asian Munias or New Guinea Mannikins. If you have some and wish to sell them, PM me with the type, quantity and price

I will buy related or unrelated birds. I am also happy to organise and pay freight from anywhere in Australia.
