saw these pair of young tri colours in the tree today. looking at the colours -cock and hen ...correct ?

I take it that is a dilute so autosomal recessive if it's a black eyed yellow it's the same so you can't sex them at that stage. imo Craig

no nothing about parrot finches so do you think out of the tri colour parents both normal birds - i have a dilute and a normal

now i know where this one came from. one of the parents is dilute and there maybe be more. visited the aviary today- just checking on the fawn pied diamonds and an adult dilute slipped by. :crazy:
