Hi all.

Had my first clutch of pied bourke parrots hatch yesterday, for us down south about 3 to 4 weeks ahead of normal.
Hopefully signs of a half decent season.

Cheers Darren

Congrats.

The mild winter seems to have kicked the breeding season into an early start here in Adelaide, too. I've got Musk Lorkieets, Scarlet Parrots, Masked Lovebirds, Double Barred Finches and Emblema finches either on eggs or feeding chicks.

We have had a very cold winter, the weather is turning & it looks like it is going to be dry for the next 6 months. Maybe the birds know better & are starting earlier?
