Ive worked out i have a green split turq split lutino or s green split lutino cock bird.

The two young fledged bright yellow lutinos the ither day.

Gonna get some more now!

That went well. Hopefully they can do another 2 successfully, or more. Now might be a good time to try a few extras, while the young are curious, and just might get a taste for something.

Done!

I have added to their diet and they have taken the bait.

I am hopeful this will improve their nutrition as the parents eat very little though they are on a finch mix seed diet and have started back on the apples.

just checked the nest, I have 2 in the nest and a possible 3rd viable egg.

its hard to tell but the skin colour and down is different, looks line a possible ino with a green or blue bird.

It looks like I have 2 normal's and a possible creamino.........the genes my two seemingly normal linnies carry must be quite diverse.

doing well. I had plans to buy 5 pairs but when my first pair lutino and split had 2 lots of clear eggs I aborted the project and went back to the gouldians....lol
I may have a crack at them again...but not just yet
