Are Kararikis compatible with Finches? I cuurently have a pair of Neophemas but looking for a change.

I have kept them with finches with no problems, as i said in another topic they are very similar to lorrikeets but no water pistols :D they also like spending a lot of time scratching around on the floor with the finches hanging around for a quick snack. Craig

What sized aviaries did you keep them in Craig?

They were in a large mixed finch aviary measuring 7 x 4 mtrs but i'm sure anything half that size would be ok for one pr. Craig

That is good news. My avairy is about 4.5 x 2.5 so shoukd be big enough.
Just need to source a pair now.

They'd probably be pretty harsh on the plants unless very heavily planted, wouldn't they?....Mine always tear up any bit of greenery in their aviary, It had a small Melaleuca in it - now it has a small stump, lol
