Young Canaries

I have canarys in half my avairy, with Goudians. I do use Ivomectin occassionally for safety. But only once noticed any sign of airsac mite and it was cleared up by the Ivomectin. So not a problem. And they teach the new finches and young finches to try anything new in the way of foods. And I love the song.

I have 2 male canaries in a mixed aviary and no problems, so it may depend on an individual bird.
Also have a pair of European goldfinches and no fights.

Beautiful canaries you have there. Really like their colours. Awesome little babies. I just paired a few up. Fifes, border, glosters paired with consorts. Hope I am as successful as you are. Job well done.
