Wondering if anyone from the forum will be going to the Avicultural Society of South Australia's sale tomorrow?

Hopefully.

Although due to a chronic (and perpetual) space shortage I'm not really looking to buy anything. Unless something really jumps out at me.

I'm lucky, have a few empty aviaries that need filling

The longest I've ever had an aviary empty is about... three hours.

So painted4, did you buy the red create finch pair??? What did you end up getting? I only got a lone tri coloured parrot cock, a bag of swamp grass and some plants

Bit out of my price range, was very surprised to see a pair there though, to be honest.

Came home with a pair of Crimsons, Red-Brows, Plumheads, Diggles and Yellow Siskins....And an Orange-Breast hen

There was a decent amount of finches there today, I thought.

Nothing there that took my fancy, unfortunately.

If I had a permit I would have seriously considered the Purple-crowned Lorikeets that one guy was selling. Stunning little birds; they sold in about ten seconds flat.
