Just to let everyone know the guest speaker at the November meeting of the Wollongong Finch Club is Dr Michael Cannon - local bird vet and author. We also have a pair of pied Red Face Parrot Finches as the major raffle prize. Visitors are more than welcome to attend.

If you decide to skip the bonsai meeting I can always give you a few tips on growing small plants. I'm an expert - everything I grow seems to stay small (or die)Ripley wrote:Very...very tempting ....should I say no to bonsai...too something worthwhile & interesting.....

I would encourage anyone who is thinking of attending the meeting to do so.
Dr Cannon is a very experienced avian vet and puts on an excellent presentation. He explains things in language that anyone can understand.
