Over the 5th and 6th of November access has been interupted. This was a mistake by the technical people and was not our doing.
Hopefully all will be back to normal for all today. Di has been in constant contact and has pushed them along.
We are sorry for problem but we move on.

Thanks for the update EOrix,

I suspected something like that. It's good to know it has been sorted.

Well hopefully this has now been fixed. As Orix said it was a glitch in the hosting company system which they say has been fixed and they apologized for the disruption. I will send out a mass email to those who may have not tried for a while.

Not sure the hosting company is being totally honest here. Looks to me that somebody didn't pay the domain name registration fees and hence the aussiefinchforum.net domain expired. According to the forum's whois record (https://tools.whois.com.au/whois/aussiefinchforum.net) they must have now paid. Unfortunately it can take up to 48 hours for the correct DNS record to propagate through the internet to all domain name servers - hence some users may experience issues for a day or two.

I wasn't sure what was wrong, it kept redirecting me to another page (Optus search). I normaly type in "aussiefinchforum.net" (no www), all I did is type "www" in front of it and got the page immediately.
