Newsletter will be late

Just a quick post to let you know the newsletter may be late this month.

My Mum had a fall on 23rd December and while she ended up with a magnificently coloured, and extremely large bruise, it extends from her knee to her ankle, she was given a clean bill of health but told she could develop an infection and to watch for any redness in the leg.
Monday 30th December, redness in her leg and she was in so much pain in her other leg where she has had her hip replaced due to favouring her recently injured leg and unable to walk we thought she may have dislocated her hip again. Turns out she has an infection in her leg where she fell and is currently in hospital on intravenous antibiotics. She is feeling very much better since being on the antibiotics but Docs are keeping her in for a few more days.
