Was a small sale but a good one.

Never seen that many goulds in one place though.

Liked the red crested finches
Breeding Project 2020-2025.
agate mosaic canaries, agate yellow mosaic canaries, red zebs, self bengos and goldfinch mules.

Can you explain the first slide with the chicks in it.

Also I have to agree with the earlier post,there were more Gouldians on offer than I have seen for a long long time
obviously Sydney must have a high percentage heavily involved with that specie.

The abundance of gouldians just reflects the time of year. All young birds have coloured up and breeding season hasn't started yet.

Sorry, that is a bit out of the ordinary. They're Red Siskin chicks being hand-reared by our web-master. He's Aussie_Bengo on AFF. I believe he had some issues so fostered the eggs under a canary but the canary fell ill so he is attempting to hand-rear so had them with him at the sale so he could give them a feed.

There were a few Gouldian specialists selling but I think Ian is correct in terms of them just colouring at this time of year.

Not sure if the Aus Blue sold - I'll find out. And yes I understand he was asking $1000.
