Sounds like a good idea. Maybe a photo or two.

Interesting to see the range today at the sale. LOTS of the staples: painteds, orangebreasts, red faced parrotfinches, ruddies, saints (and the obligatory gouldians).

but weirdly, i saw only a single pair of cordons in the place!

This sale must have put smiles on the organisers faces, as it was the best turn out at a Melbourne bird sale for years ,plenty of sellers with a very big buying crowed for a Melbourne sale,a large amount of finches and less parrots compared to recent years,as stated lots of the staples, great to meet toothless, and catch up with a fare few forum members and friends,Eorix selling his birds which looked very good, silver headed nuns looked excellent,i did see at least 6 or 7 pairs of cordons at the start of the sale, still no photos allowed, and no trade table from the AFF,cheers garyh

It's a long way to travel but we thought that some support wouldn't go astray.
Unfortunately most of my birds were sold in Orange and another NSW sale because
at that time the restriction were still on.
Must agree I was quite surprised at the amount of finches available and quite good quality.
Venue held up but the lack of parking was a pain but an enjoyable day was had.
