Anybody else going?

Spoke to David Myers, & he told me Don Burke will be opening with Mike, will also be a talk by Russel Kingston, & Dr Stacey Giles will be doing a similar display to what he did at the convention, so should be good.

Should be a few around Newcastle, I'm staying down near my old stomping grounds on the Cental Coast, it's only about 1/2 hour away these days.

I have been co opted again this year as a guide and at least one other forum member as well.
For those that have not been before there is a limit of 125 people
The 125 are divided into 5 groups of 25 and each group is rotated through the 4 seperate sections of the breeding
facility and the 5th section is where the lecture/talks are held.
There is no other facility like this one in Australia and it is a rare chance to visit Mike and Elisabeth Fidlers property
believe me the location is spectacular.
On top of the 5 sections there is plenty of time to mix with other people including a large contingent of that very very active Hunter Branch of the Finch club of NSW
So I would pencil it in as it is very well worth it.
Also the following day most attend the big bird sale close by
And unfortunately I will be too busy to use a camera Di

Yeah there are plenty around, these two are reasonably close... http://www.big4lakemacquarie.com.au http://www.budgewoihp.com.au. If you like camping Mike's facility is right a the bottom of the Watagan Mountains, so there is state forest and national park where you can camp.

I'm all booked in :D . When I spoke with David 3 weeks ago there were still plenty of spots available.
