Message in Outbox

If it is still sitting there it means that they have not looked at it yet. See if they are online at the moment.

Message in Outbox - been over an hour - still sitting in my Outbox - does it normally take that long? Dizzy

Tintola is trying to say that on this forum messages remain in the outbox until the recipient reads them. Once read then they'll move to your sent items. This is different to email where messages disappear into the ether without knowing if they've been read. On the forum you know a message has been read as it moves from outbox to sent items.

As tint said, if it is still in your outbox the person has not read it yet. It will stay there indefinitely until they open the message. I had a message leave my outbox today after more than a month.
