My hubby is just about ready to build our deck. This's where my little darling zebs will reside.
In preparation for the great day I have a "bird box". In the box I'Ve started collecting items that I think will be necessary for my Expected happy li'l family, I.e bird bath, greens and eggfood receptacle, toys, natural branch perches etc.etc. hopefully doing this will help keep the costs down and reasonably distributed so it doesn't blow the budget.
I feel like a kid waiting for a visit from Santa at Christmas and can't wait for "F" (finch) Day to get here.
Is this a symptom of possible finch addiction?

You are "nesting" just like a mumma finch. It could rub off on hubby if you are lucky, and then you will have an extra cage. And still time to make/buy a couple of wooden box or cane nests.
