New look site comments

I like the new look site, quite modern and in keeping with what pc users are used to.

I know a huge amount of work goes into creating a site like this so hats off to you Steven.

Just a couple of comments, and I know Steven is working on these I as write this.

At the top of the page the wording on the right hand side drifts of the side of the pc while everything else is visible on the screen.

As I said in the shout box I am seeing rex crosses where the chatters names are and also where the "updates every 5 seconds" icon should be.

Most of all I miss the topic birds!!

Hey Diane this is a great idea to start up a topic to see what other members think.

Yes we are working on the bird icons and the shoutbox they should be up soon.

I have viewed this on a mac and a PC but its all working fine for me would you be able to get a screenshot and post it up.

That's weird I tested the forum out using Internet explorer and it works fine for me. Have you got FireFox this is a better browser to view the forum in.

I will check it up and see what else I cant find.

I have heard of Firefox dont think I use it on pc tho...doing a search now. I use Explorer
Everything else seems to be working apart from the x's on the chatters names and the "updates every 5 seconds" icon

Yep I am trying to work out why your getting the x's do you have an ad virus blocker or something.

I do have a ad pop up blocker I will try and turn it off and see if that makes any difference.

I was able to see the previous buttons tho

Using Trend Micro PC cillin as my security

I tried turning off the pop up blocker, didnt make any difference to the crosses. Im not worried not being able to see the icons for the chatters
Im running a virus and spyware scan now to see if Ive picked up anything
