When I upload a picture i generally put the size to 640x480. But when I upload a portrait picture it uploads it as 640px high, so I was just wondering if it would be possible to change the max image size to 640px, that's what most editors have as their standard.

Yep thats happened to me .... it worked when i turned the picture on its side then uploaded , try that
