Hey all,
I'm Hao and thanks for having me on board!
I've been breeding budgies and finches (on and off) since I was 12 years old. Have recently re-ignited the aviculture flame but focused now only with finches.
Grew up in Liverpool, back in the 80's the internet and information wasn't as readily available so your only source of information and discussions were your local mates that may be interested or the local pet store.
Great to see a whole new world of information on the internet now from people who are willing to share they knowledge and experiences! Hope to contribute where I can and promote the positive and sustainability reasons for aviculture!
Cheers,
Hey All!

Hey all,
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Currently, I have two avairies one was just a starter (one of those hexagonal ones). This houses my 3 pairs of Gouldians, with a possible split blue male and split yellow.
The second one is a 3mt X 1.5mt X 2 mt (H) - semi planted.
This is a mixed, a pair of Cordon Bleus, a pair of Painted, and a pair of tri-colour. Waiting for my pre-booked Crimsons from a good Breeder (become mentor/friend now).
I'm in Anna Bay (Port Stephens) and he's in Medowie, so the fledglings are accustomed to the coastal weather here.
Thanks for the welcome again and really excited (to the point of almost obsessed) with this new hobby!
Will contribute with pictures (and experience where i can) as they settle in and start to have babies!
Cheers!
