I am now quite excited about starting again but this time with Gouldians. I have been busy reading this forum and look forward to asking "silly" questions about my new passion.
I've ordered a 1.5m x 1.5m x 2m high aviary which hasn't arrived yet (10days) and I plan on painting the wire black to enhance the viewing.
I have decide on a concrete floor with shell grit under the roosting area and fine blue-metal elsewhere. I have purchased 3 dwarf native trees that will be in pots and a birdbath with a pump as a shower.
I hope to have two pairs, but have no idea what colour yet.
Any comments are very welcome. I plan to be very diligent in my hobby and want the best information.
Looking forward to my new adventure.
