I'm from Sydney, bought 2 zebras on a whim and now starting to develop an interest in other breeds. This looks like a good place to start learning.

Welcome to the forum. Do you have your finches in an avairy or cage? e.g. what size?

Thanks everyone.
I just have them in a 30 inch flight cage at the moment. They are cheap to buy so may just get another one next and put something else in that, just go one step at a time.

A pair of Zebs will be OK in that situation. However if you wish to expand your finchy interests, not all finches will be happy in those cages. It is a point to consider. Bengalese are another finch that will be OK in that situation and that you may want to consider. Good luck. PS I would go ahead and buy the 2nd cage as if your Zebs dont soon fill their cage with young it would be unusual.
