Hi All,

I'm Auswog from Sydney. :wave: I'm new to this site and to Gouldian Finches.

Just Starting out on Gouldian Finches. I'm looking for experience breeders to help me get my head around all the mutations, methods of keeping birds healthy and breeding tips.

Oh and connect me to breeders for birds s well :lol:

Welcome to the forum, heaps of info here. If you don't mind me asking, what part of Sydney? In regards to just starting out I personally would try and stick with normals for a season or two to get things right as some of the mutations are a little fragile. Not the right time of year to get started on the breeding side of things but you will certainly pick up some young birds from this year later on or proven pairs. I have too many here at the moment. Perhaps I can help you out to get started. FOC. Your call.

Welcome to the Forum. Type Gouldian into search and you will have reading material for a long time. Talk to Matcho, lucky you, having him offer birds and assistance. Listen to his suggestions.
