Aussie Finch Forum

Hi everyone,
My name is Rhonda Sibley, from Northam W.A. thank you for letting me join.
I have Gouldian finches, Cordon Bleus, African Fires, Chestnuts, Blackhearts and Painteds. I also have canaries and 4 Jap Quails.

We are building a big aviary for them, approx 30 ft long, with 3 nearly 10 ft wide x10 ft deep cages and a double safety door with small storage area for grain,etc. We are doing it ourselves, so not a fast build, as we are in our 60's, but hope to have the cages, dressings finished within next 2 weeks. Canaries in one, gouldians in one and others i last one.
I am looking forward to learning a lot between you all and the other Aus sites,

Welcome to the forum from another west aussie. Sounds like you are intending to do the birds proud space wise. You dont have relos up my way by any chance?

OK - Our plumber here in Gero has the same surname as you, and it is not common so thought he might be a relo by marriage.
The building goes a bit slower once you hit the big 60, but as many on here prove, there is lots of life in the 3rd 30yrs of life.
