Hi people. Just thought I'd say hello as I've just joined. Don't expect me to be posting much as the only birds I have atm is a pair of magpies who allow me to live in 'their" yard.Through the 70 to the late 90's my family and I kept finches , smaller parrots (neophema, african love birds) , my parents eventually owning a pet store and breeding canaries for show. When they retired they got rid of all pets, and I haven't been in a situation to have any either. That will change in the next 12 months so I figured I'd check out the scene, was available these days and so on.
so hi!
Hello

Hi there deadman,
Welcome to the Aussie finch forum, dosen't mater if you've not got many birds as it's not all about quantity, I much prefer just a few birds but have quality
Be lucky

I like your clever captions Dedman, I'll be showing this to my sons ... over the years, between the three of us we have built about 15 strats and/or teles and one acoustic.
I have now diverted my skills to finch housing ... not quite as exacting but still satisfying and rewarding.
Not much of a player myself but I get a lot of enjoyment from their playing.
Now back on topic....
