I've been using the other Finch Forum for a couple of years, but I figured I'd check out what things are like on this side of the world.
I've kept society finches for a couple of years, and have around a year of experience with gouldians and Java finches; I recently sold most of my birds, as I am moving soon (less than a week now). I'm primarily focused on breeding high-quality self societies, although I would love to breed tricolored munias and/or normal Javas as well some time in the future.
I currently have a family of five society finches, which are likely Euro x American selfs.
Anyway, hello from Florida!

What's up with the photos? They displayed perfectly in the preview, and now they're all gone or in the wrong place...
Edit: let me see if I can fix this
Edit #2: Fixed, I guess but inline isn't working

Thank you! I'll definitely be getting used to the terminology differences; I suppose I should also start calling the fawns gingers, as well.

Yes, there's something wonky going on with the Place Inline function. It's one of the many things on my to-do list that only ever seems to grow longer.Icearstorm wrote: ↑03 Aug 2018, 12:46 Edit: let me see if I can fix this

Eh, it's okay; I'll just stick to the normal attatchments for now.ShaneGowland wrote: ↑03 Aug 2018, 14:24

Welcome to the AFF - Obviously both your parent birds are carrying recessive genes. And your chocolates all have excellent spangling.
