I have recently been strongly encouraged by my kids and grandkids to get some finches after many years.
Attended the QFS auction today and came home with a pair of painteds and a pair of red stars, both birds we had when the kids were young.
Looking forward to the journey...and the undoubted advice from the family...lol
Thanks for the forum...it's very informative and helpful.

Sounds like a good starter avairy. But as all finchos know the bug bites and new development is necessary, preferably accross at least 25% of the property. Now if only hubby agreed.

Welcome.
Newly returned to finches myself, so can empathise with the idea of expansion already🙄
