Hi all ^^ I used to own finches when I was younger, had a few years without any but I've recently decided to get back into owning them again, recently got lovely little pair of Gouldians who seem to be doing well in their new home. I do plan to get more over time, but at the moment it's just the two ^^ Discovered the forum when doing some research and thought it looked like a great place to join!
Looking forward to chatting with and learning from you all
Heyo :)

Hi and welcome to the forum
What finches did you keep in the past, and do you plan on keeping other types of finches now or just gouldians?
What colour gouldians do you have?

Thank you both!
I used to have zebra finches, and at the moment I'm just focusing on my gouldians but I do plan to start work on building an aviary soon and once that's up I may branch out in more species, I'm currently undecided though and have some building and research work to do before I decide
As for my current pair of gouldians, I have a regular coloured male (black face) and a white breasted female (yellow face).
Today they started spending a lot more time with each other, sitting close to each other on the perches and eating together more, so I'm happy they seem to be getting used to each other

Hi Numi and Welcome ...I have one Gouldian, they are the sweetest of birds...looking forward to seeing photos of your two birds.

Welcome to the forum. Do your birds have any natural perches (small branches) or are the all plastic and bamboo?
