Hi everyone
My name is Ray and have keeping and breeding finches on and off for about 25 years.
After a break from keeping finches due to family commitments I am getting back into the hobby again.
It all started for me a long time ago when my dad started keeping them and he still does so I was still able to keep in touch with them during my break.
I enjoy mainly the Australian pure strain finches and a lot of the foriegns as well.
Hope to meet a lot of people along the way and share ideas

Hi Ray, welcome to the forum. What finches are you keeping at the moment?

WELCOME to the AFF, Ray …. just like you, I returned to the hobby after a few decades absence and have been refining my preferences and techniques over the last few years. I've found my "comfort zone" by cutting back on the number of species and enclosures with a view to lessening the routine daily tasks. I find that I am enjoying it more than ever now. Good luck, enjoy the forum and your birds.

Hi Ray,
Welcome to the AFF.
I’ve been breeding birds all my life.
I also stop for a time, but got back into it about 10 years ago.
