Hi everyone, My name is Mark I’ve been breeding finches since a 6 year old with some zebra and chestnut breasted finches given to me by my father which now is just over forty years. I keep a mix of native and foreign finches but tend to stay away from mutations not because I don’t find some pretty and striking but it’s just a personal choice and the lack of aviary space and time. Thanks, I’m finding some of the post on this site interesting and informative

Welcome to the forum. Deciding what you prefer and have room for is something we should all do, so good on you. How many avairys do you have?
