I’m new to breeding. I have a pair that have been engaging in courting rituals for at least a week now. Male shaking head and jumping up and down. Female pointing her tail in his direction. They seem to be interested in the nest. I have not witnessed copulatiin. Would they still be courting if copulation has occurred. If not, why hasn’t it? How long does courtship usually last?

Mating is usually in the nest with Gouldians. I haven't seen it either.

Have you put some lengths of grass in there for them to carry to the nest? Sometime this helps talk them into finishing the job.
