G'day folks. Complete novice to the world of finches so here to gain as much knowledge as I can. Had plenty of experience with parrots though so not a total beginner. Fair warning I will bombard you all with questions so be prepared.

I used to breed and hand rear cockatiels/weiro's. Now I just keep them as tame companion birds. I also have Indian ringneck, green cheek conures, budgies, bourkes, turks and princess parrots. I was looking at getting into Gouldian finches my son would like African fire finches and I was wanting to toss in a couple of canaries.
My aviary is 1.5m x 1.5m x 2.2m so not very large. It has 4 king quail, 2 bourkes and 2 turks. I've since been told it's at capacity so I either give up on finches or get another aviary.

Welcome to the forum. Like Craig said, just build another avairy. More avairys are always a good idea. As I keep telling my hubby.
