Hi, thanks for having me in your group. I have just built a new aviary, its 4mt x 2mt. I am going to keep gouldians to start with, then work out what to put with them as I go. I have had birds many years ago , it was always a mixed aviary of parrots, budgies, zebra finches and quail. I dont know a lot about finches so I have joined here to hopefully learn and be able to choose nice birds and have a successful aviary.

Hi Sally, welcome to the forum. Best of luck with your Gouldians; you've certainly chosen the best time of the year to get into them—their feathers are in perfect condition and they're only a month or two away from the breeding season.

Welcome to the forum. Are you keeping a particular head colour or mixed?
