I have been keeping finches for over 50 years. Back when Silverbills were died pink and blue. Strawberry finches for a few dollars. Unlimited supplies of birds. I'm glad this has changed and today we have people breeding. I concentrate on Lady Gouldians and avoid all mutations. I have always enjoyed Australian finches.

Welcome to the forum. Definately better that people are generally more into breeding than just collecting these days. Do you avairy or cage breed?
