Welcome to the forum Janine!

Do you have any species in mind that you would like to get, some good species for beginners are Zebra Finches and Bengalese (Society) Finches, which are super easy to take care of.

Also how big is the aviary? Just a note but you should add rodent protection to the aviary if you haven't thought of it already (a 30cm deep concrete/wire wall on the edges or wire/concrete covering the floor), as many beginners get caught out with the issue of rats and mice entering the aviary.

Thanks,
Aidan

Welcome to the forum. We love to see pictures of peoples avairies. Look at the For sale section on here, and you may be able to get the finches you are looking for without having to look any further.

Welcome to the Forum Janine. I would also recommend the use of snake and rodent mesh 6mm x 6mm if you live in the country area. Craig
