Lol... for my lonely female black headed white breast ?? ...
nothing yet... I'm looking for 1 male yellow back white breast wth the light grey face, but can't find yet... I did drive 45 minutes to a guys house who said he had some & showed me a photo, but it didn't look right to me.. the back was green yellow.. I guess it was an Aussie yellow, so I declined ..
I do already a pair yellow headed white breasted ..I think Europeans
Also a pair of black headed white breast
I also have 4 Double Bars
And just on the weekend I got myself 2 pairs of Seagreen PF's & a beautiful Painted pair ..
I'm so happy,, and my aviary is nearly finished .. just putting down heavy 20kg pavers over the vermin wire and I'm painting the wire mesh black...OMG the difference black wire makes is amazing.
I'm Also going to get some gorgeous Plumheads..but in about a month .
I will try to work out how to upload photos of my aviary almost finished
Sorry I distressed a little

Aussie yellows do tend to have green on their yellow backs. They are one of my favourite Gouldians. How big is your avairy? Is this your first avairy or do you already have one/some? Remember if you have more than one type of Gouldian and put them in an avairy together, they may not have the same opinion as you on who their partner is. Got to get a move on and do the final sort of who is going where before my Gouldians get started for the season.

Hi, my aviary is 4.2 x 3.2 & 2 metres high.
I had 2 aviary's about 10 years ago & kept Cordons, Ruddies, OB's & DB's.
Currently my 2 pairs of Gouldians have their own cage each. So I have put who I want with who.. but I know it's not a guarantee.
I'm planning on only 1 aviary..

The birds you were keeping in the past were all similar in size and needs, which should of made them pretty compatible. Great size avairy, and vermin proofing from the start will make your and the birds lives so much better. Some people recomend not keeping Gouldians and Parrott finches together because they are a bit closely related to be ideal. I have not tried it myself.

Red faced parrotfinches are completely fine with Gouldians, as are the tricolored parrotfinch. It's those sexually-aggressive blue-faced parrotfinches you have to watch out for.finchbreeder wrote: ↑30 Jan 2020, 09:44 Some people recomend not keeping Gouldians and Parrott finches together because they are a bit closely related to be ideal. Ok.. well I was adding a pair of beautiful tri coloured next month .
And Plumheads
I can see already that the Seagreens are a little overwhelming, especially for timid Painted' s so I may keep just 1 pair .
I'll give it more time.
