I have my first gouldians going through molt and coloring up which is quite exciting to see what is produced, making all the effort worth it. I have one young bird that is struggling to fly during this period, it is very healthy and still makes it's way up the wire and on to perches, is this common?

Cheers

I don't thin I would say it is common. But it is not too uncommon either. Lots of greens, and calcium to build them up.

He's all good now, 3 days of low level flying but now he is buzzing around the aviary with his new flight feathers :D
